My mother, Josephine, had a magical touch with flowers, her garden a vibrant explosion of color. Among her roses, a pristine white variety, whose name I can no longer recall, held a special place. Inspired by its ethereal beauty, I often painted bouquets of these exquisite blooms, their delicate petals cascading across our antique Spanish hall table, a timeless reminder of her love for these magnificent flowers.
